NEWBILT Duplex system

We have a NewBilt Duplex system of pressing machines, a NewBild extruder and trimmer for the best-quality vinyl of your music. This kind of machinery makes up the capacity of 20 000 pressed vinyl pieces per month. In the future we would like to upgrade our technical equipment with energy-efficient add-ons and automatic machines, so we can have more time for bird-watching.

Frequently
Asked
Questions

What is the minimum order quantity for vinyl pressing?

Minimum quantity is no less than 100 units - a smaller number is simply meaningless for you financially. Most of the time dropping below 100 is not considered, but if your desire is a niche, special, limited-edition release, we’re here for you.

Do you offer test pressings before full production?

Not only do we offer test-pressing, it's included in the price. A serial production cannot begin before you ok the test-pressings. Usually, we send a preliminary package, which you can check out and tell us if you're happy with it.

How long does the vinyl pressing process take from start to finish?

Our usual turnover time is around 8 weeks after you've sent us all the design and audio files needed for production. Of course, we're always in touch so if a predicament outside of our control appears you will be notified immediately - such cases include technical difficulties, repair jobs and administrative jams at the customs.

Can I request a specific color or design for my vinyl?

Of course, we offer different types of colours, colour effects and combinations for your records. If you want something crazier, we can discuss it further via our contact form or through direct e-mails. One-colour options can be found in our "get a quote" form as well.

What file formats do you accept for mastering?

Here are the basic specifications.

  • File Format: WAV, AIFF, or other lossless formats
  • Sample Rate: 48 kHz (preferred), 44.1 kHz
  • Bit Depth: 24 bits (preferred), 16 bits
  • No compressed formats (such as MP3)
  • Attach a text file with the full tracklist

Are there eco-friendly options available for vinyl and packaging?

There's always an option for bio-vinyl materials. Packaging can also be done with bio-degradable corn shrink wrap. It's always good to consider it as an option.

What about unusual cover art?

There are numerous options for the cover of your record. From gloss and matt polish to combinations between the two, special materials for the cardboard jackets or different types of inserts. If you even more exotic ideas, don't hesitate to share your vision.

How can I calculate the price myself?

We have different options for that - you can check out the "package deals" section where we have the most frequent orders and number of units calculated. You can also go through our "get quote" terminal, so you can calculate the approximate price in more detail.

Shipping?

Normally we use quintuple layered cardboard boxes where your records can rest safe no matter the delivery option. After your order the delivery is handled and covered by you. Usually, if you're in the Balkans or Europe there's a lot of options to choose from. That doesn't exclude the rest of the world.
